Welcome to the American Dermoscopy Website:
Dear Colleagues,

Building on the success of the inaugural American Dermoscopy Meeting (ADM) it is my pleasure to announce the 2nd annual ADM to be held near magnificent Glacier National Park on August 15-17th, 2013. Similar to trends in other parts of the western world, many dermatologists in the United States are using dermoscopy, and are eager to learn more about the benefits and insights that dermoscopy can provide. In addition, there is an ever-increasing desire of many family physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants to become acquainted with dermoscopy. The increasing demand for dermoscopy teaching, coupled with the limited number of dermoscopy educators, has created a void, which the ADM is designed to fill. The content of the second ADM course will include information that will benefit clinicians at all levels of dermoscopy training from beginners to experts. The information provided will differ significantly from the inaugural meeting and thus returning attendees will continue to gain new understanding.

The majority of medical conferences are held in large metropolitan centers and as a consequence, most American health care providers, as well as visiting international attendees, are well acquainted with the major cities of the US. While cities may have a lot to offer, the most scenic and spectacular parts of America such as its National Parks remain unseen and are known to most only by name or images viewed in magazines, computer monitors and television. Each year the ADM will host the dermoscopy course at a different National Park or scenic vista in the US. These landscapes in the US are truly masterpieces of nature that provide visitors with a myriad of outdoor activities to choose from. We invite you to come and learn dermoscopy in surroundings that hold some of the most breathtaking vistas the world has to offer.

I look forward to meeting you at Glacier National Park in August 2013 at the second American Dermoscopy Meeting.

With Warm Regards,

Dr. Ashfaq A. Marghoob

Course Director
