Dear Colleagues,

The 2025 American Dermoscopy Meeting presents an exciting opportunity to enhance your expertise in an environment that weds academic excellence with natural grandeur. Set adjacent to Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, and close to Pinnacles National Park and Big Sur, this unique conference is a beacon for those seeking to expand their horizon and break free from the routine of urban conventions.

Embrace the thrill of kayaking Monterey Bay, hike the talus caves, watch the California Condor soar over the towering rock spires at Pinnacles, or drive down historic State Route 1, known for its winding turns alongside the majestic seaside cliffs of Big Sur. Get inspired to take your dermoscopy knowledge to new heights amidst the uniqueness of California’s land and seascape.

The alarming rise in skin cancer incidence and escalating costs associated with treating advanced disease has underscored the importance of early detection and this remains the primary impetus that fuels the demand for dermoscopy education. Besides being invaluable in skin cancer detection, dermoscopy has also proven beneficial in diagnosing and managing a myriad of other disorders ranging from inflammatory conditions to hair diseases to infestations. Dermatologists, family physicians, Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine, internists, advanced practice providers, as well as members of other sub-specialties in medicine are eager to learn the benefits and insights provided by this technique. Those already experienced with dermoscopy remain eager to refine their diagnostic skills.

The content of the 13th ADM will include information designed to benefit clinicians at all levels of dermoscopy training, from beginners to seasoned practitioners. Even returning attendees will benefit from significant variation in materials presented. While most medical conferences are held in large metropolitan centers, the most scenic parts of the United States, its National Parks, remain names or images on our bucket list. Do not pass up on the opportunity to scratch off the Pinnacles National Park from your bucket list while at the same time learning what’s new in the world of dermoscopy.

With Warm Regards,
